The Blue Chronicles – Chapter 1

The weather was beautiful till the Sun throned the sky and sabotaged it all with his mighty arrogance, turning the grey of the clouds into the insignificant white of the day and gradually melting all the blue into pale yellow rays. She looked out; craving for blue- the blue sky, the blue rain and or perhaps a blue heart. The sky was white, nearly as calm as a dead dog by the roadside, numb, breathless, still. Lifeless and ugly. She looked inside and heaved a sigh of relief, at least the curtains were blue! The sun still managed to seep through the cracks. Oh, what an arrogant fool!
But thank heavens at least the curtains were blue!
